On August 18, we held the first parent inquiry circle of the new school year. We engaged in learning and discussions on the topic of “What helps kids be successful at school?” The 1.5 hrs. session was well attended and packed full of small and full group activities. The feedback we have received was positive and all parents expressed interest in attending more sessions like this one. Here are some comments from the feedback form we received:
What did you like about the contents of the session?
“ Listening to strategies that work at Blossom.”
“Enjoyed learning about best practices for learning.”
“ Understanding children’s needs is of utmost importance.”
What did you like about the format of the session?
“Loved the multiple ways you teach- visual, auditory, hands- on; ability to interact with parents more as we often have limited opportunities”.
“Parent involvement was nice.”
“Amazing leaders, Saturday morning time, round table seating, inspiring space”.
We hope to support BLOSSOM families with more interactive learning session this school year. After all, it takes a village to raise a child, and we are determined to help raise all our learners to their full potential so that all kids can blossom!
